Analyzing Mining NFT Value
Quick Start13 / 15
Given a list of items with fields hashrate | rate%, quantity, price (RLT), normalize hashrate to a single unit (e.g. Th/s), then compute:
efficiency = hashrate_normalized / price (Th/s per RLT — higher is better)
rate_efficiency = rate% / price (% per RLT — higher is better)
Sort descending by efficiency (or whichever metric the user cares about) and present a ranked table.

Add a third example showing an edge case, such as missing/malformed fields or a tie between items, to demonstrate robustness
Workflow13 / 15
Progress:
- Step 1: Parse each listing into structured fields: name, hashrate value+unit, rate %, quantity, price in RLT
- Step 2: Normalize all hashrates to one unit (convert Ph/s → Th/s by ×1000)
- Step 3: Compute derived metrics per item:
Th/s per RLT= normalized hashrate / pricerate% per RLT= rate / pricetotal fleet hashrate= normalized hashrate × quantity (if portfolio-level analysis is needed)
- Step 4: Rank items by the metric relevant to the user's goal (raw power efficiency vs. reward-rate efficiency vs. total output)
- Step 5: Flag outliers — items with unusually high or low price-per-hashrate relative to the set average
- Step 6: Present results as a clean table plus a short recommendation (best value, best for rate farming, best for raw hashrate)

Include explicit output formatting guidance for portfolio-level (fleet) analysis with a worked example, not just a mention in Best Practices
Examples15 / 20
Example 1:
Input: Legendary Jungle King 798.210 Th/s | 0.61% Quantity: 956 From 0.094998 RLT
Output:
Name: Jungle King
Hashrate: 798.21 Th/s
Rate: 0.61%
Price: 0.094998 RLT
Th/s per RLT: 8402.4
Rate% per RLT: 6.42
Example 2:
Input: Two items —
The Minertaur 4.749 Ph/s | 1.22% From 0.42 RLT
MineOrDie 712.845 Th/s | 0.7% From 0.1995 RLT
Output:
Converting Minertaur: 4.749 Ph/s = 4749 Th/s
| Name | Th/s/RLT | Rate%/RLT |
|-------------|----------|-----------|
| MineOrDie | 3573.0 | 3.51 |
| Minertaur | 11307.1 | 2.90 |
Recommendation: Minertaur offers far better raw hashrate efficiency;
MineOrDie offers slightly better rate% efficiency per RLT spent.

Clarify what 'outliers' flagging in Step 5 looks like concretely (e.g., threshold or statistical method) rather than leaving it vague
Best Practices
- Always normalize units before comparing (Th/s vs Ph/s — 1 Ph/s = 1000 Th/s).
- Report both hashrate-efficiency and rate-efficiency separately; they often favor different items — don't conflate into one "best" score unless the user specifies weighting.
- When quantity is given, distinguish "per-unit value" (price/hashrate of one item) from "fleet value" (quantity × hashrate) — these answer different questions.
- Show the math/conversion inline so the user can verify numbers.
- If the user's goal is ambiguous (value-hunting vs. portfolio sizing), default to per-unit efficiency ranking but mention fleet totals as a secondary note.
Common Pitfalls
- Don't compare raw price alone without normalizing by hashrate — a cheap item with tiny hashrate isn't automatically "best value."
- Don't mix Th/s and Ph/s in a sort without converting first.
- Don't ignore the rate% field — it's a separate reward mechanic distinct from hashrate and should not be averaged into a single blended score unless requested.
- Don't assume "Quantity" means owned by the user — in listings it usually means available supply/stock.
