By accessing or using Skill This at skillthis.ai, the Chrome browser extension, or any related services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by NimbleBrain, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

Skill This is a tool that transforms professional expertise descriptions into structured AI-ready skills. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate, grade, and improve skills based on text you provide. Skills can be shared publicly via unique URLs.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. User Accounts

Account creation is optional. You can use core features of the Service without an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

5. Your Content

"Your Content" means any text, expertise descriptions, or other material you submit to the Service.

• You retain ownership of Your Content. By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and store Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit Your Content and that it does not violate any third party's rights.
• Skills generated from Your Content are derivative works created by AI. You may use, copy, and distribute generated skills for any purpose.

6. Sharing and Public Content

When you share a skill, it becomes publicly accessible via a unique URL. Anyone with the link can view and copy the skill content. Shared skills cannot currently be made private after sharing. Do not share skills containing confidential or sensitive information.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to generate harmful content.
• Circumvent rate limits or abuse the Service through automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) without our written permission.
• Submit content that infringes on intellectual property rights, contains malware, or is otherwise harmful.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service to generate skills that impersonate real individuals or organizations in a misleading way.

8. Chrome Extension

The Skill This Chrome extension extracts text content from web pages you choose to process. The extension only accesses page content when you explicitly initiate an action (e.g., right-click menu or popup button). You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use content from the pages you process.

9. AI-Generated Content

Skills are generated using artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies, incomplete information, or errors. Grades reflect automated assessments and should not be considered definitive evaluations of expertise. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before use.

10. Rate Limits

The Service enforces rate limits to ensure fair usage. These limits may change at any time. Attempts to circumvent rate limits may result in temporary or permanent suspension of access.

11. Pricing and Payment

The Service is currently free to use. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future. If we do, we will provide advance notice and any paid features will be clearly identified.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NIMBLEBRAIN, INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NimbleBrain, Inc. from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
