AI Skill Report Card
Orchestrating AI Marketing Operations
Quick Start13 / 15
Given a company URL (and optional social handles, analytics access), produce:
- A company/product profile (what they do, category, target customer)
- A competitor landscape (4-6 real competitors with positioning notes)
- A 30-day marketing strategy document
- A content strategy broken into channel-specific initiatives (SEO, social, articles, influencer/UGC)
No preamble — start executing the steps below the moment a website is provided.
Recommendation▾
Add a second, fuller example with concrete 30-day strategy output (headline, cadence, metrics) rather than just a headline snippet, to better demonstrate final deliverable quality.
Workflow14 / 15
Progress:
- [ ] Step 1: Crawl & understand the product (site crawl, product description, category)
- [ ] Step 2: Gather brand assets (design guide, brand voice from socials or site copy)
- [ ] Step 3: Competitive research (search + compare positioning, pricing, gaps)
- [ ] Step 4: Pull real performance data if available (GSC, GA4), else flag as skipped
- [ ] Step 5: Synthesize into 30-day marketing strategy + content strategy
- [ ] Step 6: Stand up channel agents (SEO audit, social starters, article topics, influencer/UGC drafts)
Step 1 — Understand the product
- Crawl all key pages (home, product, pricing, docs, blog).
- Write a 2-4 sentence product description in plain language: what it does, who it's for, how it's differentiated.
- Classify company category (e.g., B2B SaaS, Hybrid, Marketplace, DevTool). Flag as editable/inferred.
Step 2 — Brand assets
- Extract or infer a design guide (colors, tone cues) from the site.
- If social handles are provided, derive brand voice (tone, vocabulary, posting style) from actual posts.
- If no handles given, infer voice from website copy and state this assumption explicitly.
Step 3 — Competitive research
- Run targeted searches combining the product's core technical concepts + "competitors," "pricing," "positioning," "marketplace," "2026" (or relevant year).
- Identify 4-6 real, named competitors — prefer specificity (named products/companies) over generic categories.
- For each: note pricing model, key features, and positioning angle.
- Identify at least one concrete market gap or underserved angle the company can exploit.
Step 4 — Real performance data
- Attempt to connect Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- If unavailable/skipped, proceed with strategy based on site + competitor data only, and explicitly note what was skipped so the user can connect it later.
Step 5 — Synthesize strategy
- Produce a 30-day marketing strategy: target customer, key pain points, positioning statement, priority channels, content cadence, and success metrics.
- Produce a content strategy: specific topics/formats mapped to each channel (articles, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, SEO technical fixes, influencer/UGC campaigns).
Step 6 — Activate channel agents
- SEO: run technical audit (site files, llms.txt, performance, crawlability), surface 1-3 concrete recommendations.
- Social (X/LinkedIn): draft 2-3 starter posts in the inferred brand voice; set up ongoing monitoring for growth opportunities.
- Articles: propose ranked topic ideas tied to the content strategy.
- Influencer/UGC: draft campaign brief and identify candidate creator pool size.
Recommendation▾
Show a bad/failed output example (e.g., vague competitors or fabricated analytics) alongside the good one to reinforce pitfalls.
Examples13 / 20
Example 1: Input: uniency.com — "AI agents get identity, reputation, and a marketplace via x402/USDC payments" Output:
- Category: Hybrid (marketplace + infra)
- Competitors: ERC-8004/Ethereum Trustless Agents, Fetch.ai/Agentverse, Circle Agent Stack, TessIndex/Tesseris, Nevermined, Gigent
- Gap: most competitors are either pure-protocol (no marketplace UX) or centralized-platform (revocable access); Uniency's self-hosted, non-revocable positioning is a differentiator worth leading with
- Strategy headline: "Own the 'no incumbent can revoke access' narrative in AI agent identity"
Example 2: Input: Company skips GA4/GSC connection Output: Strategy still generated using site crawl + competitor data; note added: "Skipped Google Search Console/Analytics — connect anytime to sharpen targeting with real query data."
Recommendation▾
Include a template/skeleton for the final 30-day strategy and content strategy documents so structure is standardized rather than described only in prose.
Best Practices
- Always name real, specific competitors — vague categories ("other marketplaces") are not useful.
- State every inference explicitly ("brand voice inferred from site copy since no handles were provided") so the user can correct it.
- Prefer the sharpest possible positioning angle (a real market gap) over generic value props.
- Keep the strategy actionable within 30 days — avoid multi-quarter roadmaps.
- Re-run competitor research with fresh, dated search queries (include the year) to avoid stale results.
Common Pitfalls
- Don't fabricate analytics data when GA4/GSC aren't connected — clearly mark it as skipped/unavailable.
- Don't invent competitors that don't exist; if uncertain, search again rather than guessing.
- Don't produce a strategy before completing the competitive gap analysis — positioning without a gap is generic.
- Don't skip explicit progress reporting on multi-step workflows — users need to see what's done vs. pending.
